What can be better than fresh fruit in season? We’ll source the freshest, most flavorful fruit available depending on season. Sourced from Virginia in blueberry to apple seasons, and citrus from Florida in the winter.

Cost: $70 per couple in addition to room price

Surprise your fellow traveler with a special treat for their birthday or other celebration. Plan to have in your room on arrival:

  • A gorgeous flower bouquet

  • A custom cake (6″, one layer, choice of chocolate or vanilla), decorated to your instruction

  • Everything you need to serve the cake, wherever you choose (dining room, patio, deck, your private room).

$70, plus room. Requires 4 days’ advance notice.

Lunch-to-go

Whether you’ll be deep in Shenandoah National Park at lunch time, or simply want to chill out on the property and eat on the Boxwood Garden deck, we’ll supply a delicious picnic lunch.

We’ll work with you to plan the perfect lunch:

  • Choice of chicken salad, ham and cheese, or roast beef

  • Chips, apple, cookies

  • Sodas or iced tea

  • Packed ready to go

Baguette and cheese and sausage board also available instead of sandwich.

$20 per person, plus room. Requires 24 hours’ notice.

Cheese Plate

Want a snack or light dinner upon arrival? We’ll set you up with a beautiful spread of curated cheeses, crackers, bread, jam, pickles, and nuts for two. Feel free to add a bottle of wine or our own cider or mead at marked prices.
