Mornings on the farm have been crisp like the best days of Fall. By noon, the sun reminds us to shed our sweaters and enjoy a bit more sunshine before Winter comes knocking. You can’t go wrong with a classic Pumpkin Spice Latte with house made pumpkin sauce, but the Taramisu latte with Marscapone cold foam and the Rosie Fig latte with Rosemary fig sauce are unforgettable!

Bonobo’s Bakery, also in Waynesboro and just down the road from Happ, has mastered the art of exclusivity. Every month, their staple flavors, the classic Cinnamon bun and the Cookie Butter bun, are joined by two new sweet buns and a savory roll! For September, the line up includes a Pumpkin Spice bun, Espresso Toffee bun, and Pepperoni Pizza roll. Grab one of each and a Kitchen Sink Cookie!

The Split Banana, Co. is located on Main St. in downtown Staunton VA. Order at the window or step inside to enjoy the retro diner vibes. With a full selection of ice cream, sorbet, and gelato, they feature classic flavors like chocolate chip cookie dough and more unique selections like sticky rice. Their fall flavors are a classic trio Pumpkin Pie, Oatmilk Chai Latte, and Cinnamon. Will you get a cup or a fresh made cone?

September 26th and 27th downtown Staunton VA is transformed into a magical world for the Queen City Mischief and Magic festival. Dress up in your best wizard, witch, or fantasy attire and explore the town. You’ll find classes on wandmaking, unique drink specials – I mean potion specials, quidditch games, exclusive shop merch, and themed events. Check the QCMM facebook page for all the details so you don’t miss a thing!

September 19 through November 1, 2026 visit Endless View Farms in Crimora VA for their fall festival. Explore the corn maze, sunflower field, and pumpkin patch and visit with the farm animals. Bring your camera for all the great photo ops!

October 10th and 11th, hit downtown Waynesboro VA for the 55th annual Fall Foliage Art Festival! Hosted by the Shenandoah Valley Creative Arts Center, the festival features 165 local artists, vendors, music, food trucks  and craft beer! Check out www.svacart.com/ for more info. During the festival on October 10th, stop by Stone Soup Books from 11-4pm  to enjoy a Cider Tasting Pop-Up hosted by our cider company Stone Ledge Cider.
